The quality of books being adapted into movies and TV have improved considerably in recent years, and 2019 looks like it will have some really
promising titles. Of course, while most semi-popular books are getting optioned nowadays, actually seeing them make it to the screen is another issue (as opposed to lingering in developmental limbo).
